A Message from the Assistant Superintendent of SELPA & Equity 

The mission of Ontario-º¬Ðß²Ýapp School District SELPA is to work in collaboration with our families, staff, community members, and partners in education for the betterment of all students. We embrace the uniqueness of our population and foster the development of programming to provide opportunities for students to reach their full potential in an inclusive educational environment. OMSD SELPA is committed to providing students with the accommodations, support, resources, and services to strive for academic excellence.

SELPA & Equity Division Goals Summary 

(1) Supporting and coaching new Education Specialists and General Education teachers (as appropriate), to support their success as an early-career professional; (2) Monitoring the progress of students in ELA and Math to determine where additional support is required, identify professional development and programming needs; (3) Targeted professional development aligned to participant surveys, CDE compliance monitoring activities, and patterns/trends in the industry; (4) Develop an equity action plan and goals in alignment with the Superintendent’s goals and the district’s five year action plan.
